The trail to Stella Lake has a lot of open views and provides plenty of shady spots to rest. A moderate hike , it starts roughly 8 or 9 miles from the "Upper Lehman Creek" campground. Though the lakes' elevation is over 10,000 feet , the elevation gain while hiking is only a few hundred feet . Park location - Nevada - just west of the Utah state line.
