Average adult sizes range from 8.2 feet (females) to 11.2 feet or more (males).Some adults weigh more than 1000 pounds.These gators are carnivores and are opportunists who will eat almost anything .I used a long lens(take a hint !).Range: found all over the southeastern United States.Habitat: Nearly any fresh water location- (esp.- swamps).
