YOU'RE FOOLING YOURSELF
You're seeing the effects of an extended drought . This lake bed ( ? ) , in a
remote Lake Powell location, should be submerged- but instead it's dried up!
Though there has been substantial rain in some regions of the western
U.S. recently, it might be premature to declare the drought over.
Scientist studying tree rings have found that wet spells during past big droughts
usually last "but a year". My fear - legislators could take advantage of
this & loosen the standards of the "clean air act".
